Responsibilities Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) - $2,000. Our mission is to provide safe, effective, and compassionate mental health and substance use treatment. We are searching for a Full Time, Day shift Substance Use Disorder Professional for ourInpatient Team in Kirkland. What Role Will You Play? SUDPs at Fairfax in Kirkland are part of an interdisciplinary treatment team charged with providing quality SUD services to our patients from admission to discharge. SUDPs are empowered to assess their patients' needs, to collaborate with patients to create treatment plans, to meet with patients regularly as they move through their journey of recovery, to contribute to treatment planning, and to work with our patients' family/support/outpatient team. What Will You Get To Do? SUDPs are responsible for:

  • Completing ASAM assessments for patients within 72 hours of admission.
  • Conducting SUD-specific group treatment.
  • Meeting 1:1 with patients at least once a week to provide clinical support for their recovery.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings as an integral professional member.
  • Documenting in the medical record.
    • Completing discharge summaries and related paperwork when patients discharge.
    • Engaging in clinical supervision with the Lead SUDP (for SUDPTs only). Qualifications What Does Fairfax Require for this Role? An associate's degree in Substance Use Counseling or a related mental/behavioral health field is required as well as the desire to help our patients improve their lives. You will need an unrestricted SUDP credential from the WA DOH. All Fairfax employees must successfully pass the Handle With Care course completed during New Employee Orientation.
