Programs leverage Brooks' performance running gear, financial
resources, and our energetic and dedicated people to champion the
run for all. The Community Impact channel sits within the Brand PR
& Communications team and makes critical contributions to Brooks'
purpose to inspire people to run their path, our conviction that
everyone who wants to run feels welcome to run, and everyone who
runs has a place to do it.The Community Impact Specialist is
responsible for supporting strategy and executing initiatives and
partnerships in our priority areas of youth running and community
partners. Rooted in the knowledge that youth sports foster a sense
of belonging and generate lifelong social and health benefits, we
support youth running teams, training clubs, and mentors through
our Future Run Platform. We invest in organizations, running, and
community groups who are advancing diversity and inclusion in
running, working together to build community and affect positive
social change.The ideal candidate will approach their role with a
listening mindset, empathy, and dedication to fostering mutually
beneficial partnerships. This person will center diversity, equity,
and inclusion in their work and ensure that Brooks' community
investments and partnerships amplify, benefit, and are informed by
the voices of the individuals, communities, and organizations
Brooks seeks to serve.Responsibilities
- Partner with Community Impact Manager to continuously execute
Community Impact strategy including (but not limited to) Future Run
& Community Partners.
- Plan and execute key partner activations/events with oversight
and guidance from the Community Impact Manager.
- Participate in cross-functional working groups to understand
marketing plans and priorities and support campaigns that include
Community Impact partners or stories.
- Administer Future Run grants programs inclusive of Future Run
Team Grants & Future Run Community Grants.
- Partner with Community Impact Manager to administer financial
and in-kind donations, including routing documents to legal and
finance teams to ensure compliance.
- Order and ship gear and coordinate screen printing for
Community Impact partners, ensuring custom product orders are
accounted for in budget trackers.
- Administer Philanthropic Donation Tracker, sending reminders
for teams to input donations and pulling data as requested.
- Lead execution of our annual Inspiring Coaches program that
recognizes high-school track and cross-country coaches making an
impact on their communities.
- Execute photoshoots on behalf of Community Impact partners.
Develop shot lists, order gear for photoshoots/events, and partner
with on-site production vendors to ensure content capture meets
Brooks' standards.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or relevant
equivalent experience.
- 2+ years' experience in marketing with specific experience in
community and/or brand partnerships.
- Passion and knowledge of the running community, including the
ability to understand and empathize with the runner to develop
loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and partners in
the running community.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle
multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
effective listening and demonstrating empathy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust,
resulting in effective working relationships across the company and
with external partners.
- Ability to present with confidence and represent the Brooks
brand with external stakeholders.
- Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and
execution of multi-faceted projects and events involving multiple
stakeholders.
- Demonstration of initiative and innovation - always looking at
improving our presence and processes while also displaying a
willingness to dive into the details and help wherever
necessary.

- 20% travel (-3-6 work trips/year).Compensation: The pay range
for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $28.01 -
$39.24 per hour. Base pay offered will vary depending on
job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Other:Brooks is proud
